Postgraduate Diploma in Yogic Science & Ayurveda

Retreat description

This university-level course is a remarkable opportunity to deepen your practice and expand your knowledge in the field of traditional Yoga and Ayurveda. Both sciences combined give great insight into the wide field of holistic health in today’s world.

Nowadays, Yoga is often misunderstood as a form of exercise, however, the true essence of Yoga is far beyond the physical realm: developed thousands of years ago, Yoga is a path of liberation and self-realization. Through postures, breathing techniques, mudras, purification techniques, bandhas, and meditation, ancient Yogis sought to understand the Self and the Universe.

Around the same time, they developed Ayurveda, the Science of Life. Ayurveda is a system of holistic medicine that creates health, balance, and longevity through diet, natural herbs, and a wholesome lifestyle. Its principles are based on the theory of the five elements and three body constitutions (Doshas)

In the 21st century, people are turning toward a holistic approach to well-being. The sister sciences of Yoga and Ayurveda are the right choice in this era: they detoxify and balance both body and mind, establishing overall health and happiness.
